Rock Werchter is an annual Belgian music festival held alongside the Haachtsesteenweg in Werchter (Belgian province of Flemish Brabant). It is one of the more established European festivals. Evolving from its more humble beginnings in 1974 as a one-day event, by 2003 the festival had fattened into a massive four-day celebration and we're sure the line-up had something to do with it:

T in the Park is a major Scottish festival, which has kicked off annually over the last 15 years. It begun as a two-day festival held at Strathclyde Country Park but since 2008 has grown into a three-day dancing, camping and partying gala held at an abandoned airfield in Balado, Scotland. Over these three days in July, more than 80,000 people pack the dance floors and camp sites to see over 180 artists. The festival is always a sell-out, with tickets disappearing within hours of going on sale. To the delight of the enviro-conscious, T in the Park is also a green festival. Organisers have taken huge steps to ensure the event is the largest Carbon Neutral festival in the world.

Fuji Rock Festival is Japan's premiere and annual rock festival held in Naeba Ski Resort, Yuzawa-machi, Niigata, Japan. The partying rolls over three days and attracts over 200 local and international artists onto seven main stages with more than 100,000 festival goers. The amazing mountainous terrain surrounding the resort makes for a stunning backdrop.

V Festival, - Chelmsford is an annual British music festival held at Hylands Park in Chelmsford. In its early days, the festival beckoned rock music lovers from across the UK but in recent years, dance and pop acts have begun infiltrating.
