My first comment!!
When the competition was new and my dreams were aspiring, this was my first comment or mini-blog that I posted, on the 10th of October.
Should I say that journalism is my dream since I was a child?

Do I tell you music is the only thing that matters in my life and that I bleed red semiquavers?
Does telling you that I think all musicians are Jesus going to get me the gig?
How about I tell you the facts.
-Ive studied music and classical trumpet since I was seven,
-I'm completing a music research thesis which will be finished in a month,
-I work in the hospitalisty industry which exposes me to a great deal of live music from all styles,
-I attend music of all forms, styles and genres- funk, blues, gypsy, muscial theatre, classical, electro, jazz, rock, attend festivals and even have a pair of rare edition BIG DAY OUT converse all stars !!
-I want to be a live music critic. I have the capacity to be a performing trumpeter however I would rather write about music and share it with other people.
This is now my favourite website, every time I go to a gig I'm going to come home, load the photos and write the blog as soon.
This is going to become one pimped profile.

O ya x I’m just dropping a line, in search of some likeminded others who would be keen, committed, collaborate and produce some major events among the music and entertainment industry in OZ… (One of my events gained a position in the Smirnoff’s Promoters Grant short-list. Refer to my profile page for exp, history, skills etc www.myworldtour.com.au/4sound) I’ve been involved in ‘various music scenes’ for years, resulting to collections of relevant info, knowledge, market research and identification of new market spaces and there is room for growth in the industry! We are in an important time in our music industry, considering the rapid technology changes, music and genre exposure through airplay, festival line-ups etc, social networking, communication, revenue outlets, support etc! Within these accesses and settings, new enhancements can be formed…. Too cut a long story short, I’m looking for a selected few serious, people to join me in a group and conduct some major plans via events and the entertainment industry. The team is basically like a dedicated band, everyone has similar goals and objectives to achieve the same results and work equally as hard to get there quickly. Though no-one said things would be easy! I’m based in G.C QLD but have concepts to go nationally and internationality with some events. (Therefore I’m also looking for contacts with similar goals or services in alternate states.) So I camped out at FALLS in Lorne, VIC over New Years, saw some amazing moments, heard some rocking tunes, met a lot of intriguing individuals and managed to get some My World Tour research in there too!!!

When they were in town my mum came home one night saying...."really familiar face threw down a hat and started playing the trumpet this arvo in the city. But couldn't figure it out, really good player though."

Turns out it was flea lol just threw his hat down n drew a crowd for not much else than shits n giggles, n mum didn't even know it! Nerdfest interviews (depsite the fuzz lol) were schweet n for sure diggin everything else you bringin, Peace from a former Sax man (umm, does that make us friends or enemies? To my credit I really picked it up cause Bowie did lol that and..umm...Lisa Simpson but shh on that one)

canon 2.8 15mm to be exact :) I love the distortion it creates on a full frame, one of my fave lenses even if it isn't always practical :D

Hey!! I was based in Amsterdam (I've got Dutch heritage) which was brilliant... London is an amazing city but be prepared for lots of Australians!! I reckon the best bit of advice I got before I left was take enough money over to have the freedom to do what you want, there is NOTHING worse then seeing an amazing festival line up or your favourite band playing a gig and you can't front the cash to go! Then don't plan too far ahead because you will always discover little gems a little bit too late if you don't have flexibility with your plans!! You will love it over there, the amount of touring artists is just crazy compared to here!!

yah! i will change the titles so people can see it a series...but yeah, i thought i would attack the 'about me' part a bit differently. i'll check out your video tomoz. i'm working from 730am tomorrow because of stocktake...blah!

Since I'm in the sticks, I really only travel to see bands that I love. That said, when I eventually end up somewhere populated I'll watch just about anything I can. I like most stuff, techno and country being a large exception.

Now you've ruined that photo for me haha all i see is the hand!! Also, the reason we almost got escorted out of Lily was because some people who were next to us complained that we were too rowdy aka having too much fun. So, security got all up in our grills about it. We ignored them and continued with the fun.....we asked the people next to us if they were the fun police to which they replied "We paid good money to see this gig!!" I told 'em to take off their angry pants and chuck on some happy ones.....needless to say they didn't enjoy my comment haha!!!

My ex was a hater of most things fun haha!! Oh well now I have the freedom to get loose and dance the day/night away :) and thank you for the kind words on my writing but "flair" wouldn't be the word I'd use.....maybe something that rhymes like.....impair......yes, that would be more fitting. Might try waste some minutes at work and check out you blogs.....lookin forward to it ;)

Yeh ur blogs are wicked. I've really gotta get cracking with mina haha! So yeh, never been to a festival! I live in the middle of nowhere, not that that's any kind of excuse, but usually work or whatever gets in the way, or I'm just not entirely fussed on the line-up. Definitely gonna change that at some point over the summer though. I get away every now and then for gigs though which is good, but it'll be nice when I move to Syd so it won't be such an ordeal to organise and get to!
